Located on Mahe, Anse Royale is a reef break with fairly reliable waves year-round. The best conditions occur with southwest swells and west-northwest winds, especially around high tide. While the waves suit intermediate surfers, be cautious of strong rips and shallow, jagged reef. This spot rarely gets crowded, making it a peaceful surf destination.
