Salmon Bay is a reef break in Far South Australia known for its consistent waves, working in any season. The best swell comes from the southwest, with ideal winds from the north-northeast. Mid-tide conditions produce the cleanest waves, and the right-hand reef break is rarely crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, sharks, and strong rip currents.
