Barachois

Located in North Reunion, Barachois is a river mouth break that works best during summer with south-southwest offshore winds. The waves, coming from northeast swells, produce both left and right beach breaks that are rarely crowded. While the waves are beginner-friendly, sharks have been spotted in the area. Water temperatures remain warm year-round at 27.1°C.
