Ilha do Farol

Ilha do Farol is a beach break in the Algarve, Portugal, known for its consistent waves that favor right-handers. The spot works best with south swells and offshore northwest winds, with mid-tide conditions being ideal. While it's fairly consistent, summer can be flat, and the water is cold, requiring a wetsuit. Crowds are usually light, even when the surf is good, making it a great spot for intermediate surfers.
