Located in North Portugal, Espinho is a beach/jetty break that works year-round with groundswells from the west. The best wind direction is east, creating clean conditions for both left and right-hand waves. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the spot can get crowded and features strong rip currents. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit.
