Davenport Landing

Located in Santa Cruz, Davenport Landing is a reef and point break known for its fairly consistent waves, especially with southwest swells. The best conditions occur at mid-tide with rising water, producing a left-hand reef break. While beginner-friendly, the spot can get crowded and requires caution due to rocks and sharks. Water temperatures are cold, so a wetsuit is essential for surfers.
