Chicahauk

Located in North Carolina, Chicahauk is a sandbar break that works well year-round with groundswells from the east. The best conditions occur with west-southwest offshore winds, and waves are rideable at all tide stages. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the spot can get crowded and has hazards like strong rips, sharks, and localism. A wetsuit is essential due to the cold water temperatures.
