Kahului Harbor

Kahului Harbor is a premier reef break in Maui, known for its consistent waves, especially during winter. The best swells come from the north-northeast, with south winds providing ideal offshore conditions. The reef provides both left and right-hand waves that work well at all tide levels. However, surfers should be cautious of hazards like rocks, sharks, strong rips, and localism. Despite the risks, the high-quality waves attract experienced surfers from around the world.
