Mazagon

Mazagon is a sandbar break in Andalucia, Spain, known for its mix of groundswells and windswells. The best waves arrive from the southwest, particularly around low tide, producing both left and right breaks. Ideal conditions occur in winter and spring with north-northeast offshore winds. While the water is cold at 14.2°C, requiring a wetsuit, crowds are generally light even when waves are present. Intermediate surfers will find the most consistent rides here.
