Rivermouth (Hikkaduwa)

Located in Hikkaduwa, Rivermouth is a river break with fairly consistent waves, especially outside of summer. The best conditions come from southwest swells and northeast offshore winds. Both left and right-hand waves form here, making it a versatile spot for intermediate surfers. While not overly crowded, water quality can be questionable at times. The warm tropical waters and uncrowded lineup make it a great escape for those seeking less-traveled waves.
