Punta Ballenas

Punta Ballenas is a reef and point break in Piura, Peru, known for its consistent left-hand waves. The best conditions occur during spring and summer with northwest swells and southeast winds. Mid-tide with rising water provides the ideal setup. While not overly crowded, surfers should watch for rocks and urchins.
