Located in Northland, Spirits Bay is a beach break known for its consistent waves, especially from north-northeast swells. The best conditions occur at mid-tide with rising water, producing both left and right-hand waves. While not overly crowded, beginners will find the waves manageable. Offshore winds from the southeast enhance the surfing experience, making it a reliable spot for all levels.
