Ohope Beach

Located in Bay of Plenty, Ohope Beach features both beach and point breaks, producing powerful lefts and rights. The waves are best at high tide and work well with groundswells from the north-northeast. Offshore winds from the south-southwest enhance conditions, while west winds provide some shelter. Though rarely crowded, the waves are best suited for advanced and expert surfers due to their power and unpredictability.
