Located on the East Coast, Horseshoe Bay 1 features both left and right-hand beach breaks along with a right-hand reef break. The waves are best when swells arrive from the south, though the spot is inconsistent and lacks a clear seasonal pattern. Ideal wind conditions come from the north, while west-southwest winds provide some shelter. The water temperature remains moderate at around 19.1°C, making it suitable for beginners. Crowds are rare, even when the surf is up.
