Tamarindo

Located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Tamarindo is a river mouth break known for its consistent waves. The best swells come from the west-northwest, while offshore winds from the east create ideal conditions. Both left and right-hand waves form here, attracting intermediate surfers. The spot can get crowded, so plan your session accordingly. Water temperatures remain warm year-round, making it a great tropical surf destination.
