Flatrock

Located on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, Flatrock is a reef break known for its fairly consistent waves, especially in winter. The best conditions occur with southwest swells and east winds, with mid-tide being the optimal time to surf. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the spot can get crowded and requires caution due to rocks, sharks, and the reef environment. Water temperatures average around 18.4°C, making wetsuits advisable.
