Located on Italy's west coast, Piombino (Perelli 1) is a beach break with mostly unreliable waves, especially in summer. South swells produce both left and right-handers, though conditions are often flat. The spot rarely gets crowded, making it ideal for beginners. Water temperatures stay cold, requiring a wetsuit. North winds create the best offshore conditions for surfing.
