Located in Peru's La Libertad and Lambayeque regions, Pimentel features both beach and point breaks with consistent waves year-round. The best conditions arrive in summer with south-southwest swells and northeast winds. Waves break both left and right, with a left-hand point break adding variety. The surf is good at all tides and rarely crowded, making it a peaceful spot. Surfers should watch for rip currents and man-made hazards like buoys.
