Nyanyanu is a river break on the Gold Coast known for its consistent waves, especially in spring. The best conditions occur with south swells and north-northwest winds, offering right-handers at low tide. While rarely crowded, strong rips make this spot hazardous for less experienced surfers. Water temperatures remain warm year-round, averaging 27.1°C.
