Mission Beach

Mission Beach is a popular beach break in San Diego County, known for its fairly consistent waves. The best conditions occur in summer with offshore east winds and southwest swells. The break produces both left and right-hand waves, peaking around high tide. Surfers of intermediate skill will find suitable waves, though the spot can get crowded. Be cautious of rocks and the chilly water, which requires a wetsuit.
