Located in North Florida, Ponte Vedra features a mix of beach and reef breaks with fairly consistent waves year-round. The best conditions occur with east-southeast swells and west-southwest winds, producing both left and right-handers. Low tide enhances the surf, but the spot can get crowded and presents hazards like rocks, sharks, and strong rip currents. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit for comfort.
