Rye On the Rocks

Located in New Hampshire, Rye On the Rocks is a left-hand reef break that works best at mid-tide. The spot receives a mix of groundswells and windswells, with the best waves coming from the east. Offshore winds from the west create ideal conditions, but be cautious of rocks in the lineup. While the surf can get crowded when conditions are good, the fairly consistent waves make it a decent spot for beginners. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the reliable surf is worth the effort.
