Willow Creek

Located in Monterey, Willow Creek is a reef break that delivers consistent waves year-round, with groundswells dominating over windswells. The best waves come from the west, and northeast winds provide offshore conditions. Both left and right breaks are present, with the left being the more favored. Ideal surf occurs around mid-tide on an incoming tide, but the spot can get crowded when conditions are good. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and the occasional shark sighting.
