Strandfontein

Located along the West Coast, Strandfontein is an exposed beach break that works best with southwest swells and offshore east winds. The waves here are powerful and suited for advanced or expert surfers, with consistent groundswells creating long rights. Tide has little effect on wave quality, but crowds and strong rip currents can pose hazards. When conditions are right, it delivers some of the best surf in the region.
