Stompneus

Located in the Western Cape, Stompneus is a sheltered reef and point break that offers powerful waves for advanced surfers. The spot works best during winter with groundswells from the southwest, handling onshore winds better than most locations. It features a left-hand reef break and a left-hand point break, with waves breaking over shallow reef. While rarely crowded, surfers should be cautious of rocks and strong currents. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit.
