Spanish Point

Located in County Clare, Spanish Point is a reef and point break that delivers waves year-round, especially from west swells. The right-hand reef break works best at mid-tide but can be crowded. Surfers should be cautious of submerged rocks and cold water temperatures, requiring a wetsuit. Offshore east winds create ideal conditions for this fairly consistent break.
