Point de Pecheurs (Sapunis)

Point de Pecheurs (Sapunis) is a challenging left-hand reef break in Tahiti, best surfed during winter with south swells. Offshore northeast winds create ideal conditions for advanced surfers. The wave quality remains strong regardless of tide, but hazards like rocks, sharks, and strong rips require caution. When working, this spot can get crowded due to its reliable and powerful waves.
