Gelegen in de Cote d'Azur, heeft Ile Ste Marguerite een mix van strand- en rifbreken met zowel links- als rechtshandige golven. De spot werkt het beste tijdens de herfst en winter wanneer zuidwestelijke golven aankomen, hoewel het zelden consistent breekt. Gemiddelde surfers vinden geschikte omstandigheden, maar let op rotsen, ondiepe riften en sterke terugstroom. Noordoostelijke offshore wind biedt de schoonste omstandigheden, hoewel er drukte kan ontstaan als de golven goed zijn.
