Located in Guanacaste, Potrero Grande is a point/river break known for its consistent waves. The best swells come from the southwest, while northeast winds create ideal conditions. Suitable for intermediate surfers, the spot can get crowded when the surf is good. Be aware of rocks, sharks, and other hazards while enjoying the warm tropical waters.
