Clifton Beach

Located on Tasmania's East Coast, Clifton Beach is a beach break with fairly consistent waves, especially in autumn. The best swells come from the south, while north winds create ideal conditions. Both left and right-hand waves form here, suitable for all tide levels. Surfers should be cautious of strong rips, which can make the surf dangerous. A wetsuit is essential due to the cold water temperatures.
