Binalong Beach

Located on Tasmania's East Coast, Binalong Beach is a river break with fairly consistent waves fueled by groundswells. The best conditions come from southeast swells, while offshore winds blow from the southwest. Suitable for beginners, the surf quality remains unaffected by tides but can get crowded when working. Surfers should be cautious of strong rip currents and the cold 15.5°C water, making a wetsuit essential.
