Rapid Creek - Bar

Located in Darwin, Rapid Creek - Bar is a river break with fairly consistent waves year-round. The best conditions occur with west-northwest swells and south winds, especially at mid tide. Both left and right-hand waves are available, though the spot can be blown out by onshore breezes. While rarely crowded, surfers should be cautious of sharks, crocodiles, and strong rips. The warm tropical water makes it an inviting but challenging surf destination.
