El Astillero

Located in Nicaragua's Tola Province, El Astillero is a reef/river break known for its consistent waves, especially from south-southwest swells. The left reef break is the standout, though a right reef also provides solid rides. Best surfed at low tide, this spot is rarely crowded, making it a peaceful escape. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and the warm tropical waters averaging 27.3°C.
