Mangahume

Located in Taranaki, Mangahume is a reef break known for its powerful waves, best ridden at high tide. The spot favors southwest swells and northeast winds, producing both left and right-hand waves. With moderate water temperatures and rare crowds, it's a prime destination for experienced surfers. However, submerged rocks pose a hazard, so caution is advised.
