Hicks Bay

Located in East Cape, Hicks Bay is a beach break known for its consistent waves, especially in summer. The best conditions occur with east-northeast swells and west-southwest winds, peaking around high tide. While rarely crowded, surfers should be cautious of rocks, rips, and strong currents. Water temperatures remain moderate at around 20.8°C, making it a challenging but rewarding spot.
