Contrebandiers

Located between Rabat and Casablanca, Contrebandiers is a reef break that delivers fairly consistent waves, especially in winter. The left-hand wave suits intermediate surfers, with groundswells dominating over windswells. Offshore winds from the east-southeast create ideal conditions, while the northwest swell direction produces the best waves. Surfers should be cautious of rocks and avoid crowded sessions, as the spot remains relatively uncrowded even when conditions are good.
