Main Point (Weligama)

Located in West Sri Lanka, Main Point is a reef break that works best with southwest swells and north-northeast winds. The waves are generally beginner-friendly, though the spot can get crowded. Water temperatures stay warm year-round, making it ideal for surfers of all levels. Be cautious of rocks and other surfers in the lineup. While summer can be flat, the winter season delivers more consistent surf.
