Kugenuma Rivermouth

Located in Kanagawa, Kugenuma Rivermouth is a river break known for its reliable left-hand waves, particularly in autumn. The spot works well with south swells and north-northeast offshore winds, though cross-shore breezes can be an issue. Suitable for all skill levels, the waves are best at any tide but can get crowded, sometimes making surfing hazardous. The cold water requires a wetsuit, and the lack of shelter adds to the challenge.
