Mitchell's Cove

Located in Santa Cruz, Mitchell's Cove is a sheltered reef and point break known for its reliable winter waves. The best conditions occur during low tide with rising water, fueled by northwest swells. Ideal for beginners, it features fairly consistent waves but can get crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, strong rips, and localism. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit.
