Located in Orange County, 13th Street is a sheltered beach break that works best during winter with west-northwest swells. The waves peel nicely to the left, especially around low tide, but are inconsistent. Ideal for beginners, though crowds, strong rips, and localism can be hazards. Water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and pollution may be present.
