Tices Sholls

Located in New Jersey, Tices Sholls is a sandbar break that works well with offshore winds from the west-northwest. The best swell direction is from the southeast, and the spot performs consistently across all tide stages. While beginner-friendly, the area can get crowded when conditions are good, and strong rip currents pose a hazard. Water temperatures are cold, requiring a wetsuit year-round.
