Costa da Caparica

Located near Lisbon, Costa da Caparica features a beach and jetty break with waves that work year-round. The surf is fairly consistent, with the best swells coming from the west and offshore winds from the east. Both left and right-hand waves form, suitable for all tide stages, though rocks and localism can be hazards. The water is cold, requiring a wetsuit, and the spot can get crowded.
