Costa Nova

Costa Nova is a popular beach/jetty break in North Portugal, delivering consistent waves year-round. The spot works best with west swells and offshore east winds, producing both beach and jetty breaks. Suitable for intermediate surfers, it offers left and right-hand waves that perform well at all tide stages. However, crowds, strong rips, and pollution are common hazards to be aware of. The cold water requires a wetsuit, but the surf is worth the effort.
