The waves offer both left and right breaks, making it a favorite among intermediate surfers. Windswells dominate due to the short fetch, with north-northeast winds providing the best conditions. The water remains cold year-round, requiring a wetsuit, and surfers should be cautious of crowded conditions and dangerous rip currents.
