Lighthouse (Spot C)

Located in North Otago, Lighthouse (Spot C) is a reef and point break that works year-round with groundswells. The best waves come from east-northeast swells and are optimal at low tide. Intermediate surfers will enjoy the left-hand breaks, though shark sightings are a known hazard. Offshore north winds and cold water make this a less crowded but challenging spot.
