Located in Waterford, Bunmahon is a river break that delivers left and right-hand waves when conditions align. The surf is best with a south-southwest swell and north winds, though it works sporadically. Water temperatures remain cold, requiring a wetsuit, and strong rips pose a hazard. Intermediate surfers will find the most success here.
