Located in Guanacaste, Ostional is a beach break that works best with west-northwest swells and offshore east winds. The waves offer both left and right breaks, making it suitable for intermediate surfers. The water stays warm year-round at 28.5°C, and the spot is rarely crowded. However, strong rip currents can be dangerous, so caution is advised.
