The Spit

Located on Yorke Peninsula, The Spit is a consistent point break with left-hand reef waves that work best in offshore east winds. The ideal swell comes from the southwest, and the spot is less crowded even when waves are present. Intermediate surfers will enjoy the waves, but be cautious of rocks, rips, and sharks. Water temperatures remain moderate year-round.
