Located on Phillip Island, Summerland Bay is a reef break that performs best with southwest swells and northwest winds. The waves break to the right and are most reliable around high tide, though summer months can be flat. Suitable for beginners, the spot can get crowded when conditions are good. Surfers should beware of rocks, strong rips, and the presence of sharks.
