The Trough

Located on Adelaide's South Coast, The Trough is a beach and reef break known for its fairly consistent waves. It performs best in winter with west-southwest swells and offshore east winds. The right-hand reef break works best at mid tide, but beware of rocks, sharks, and crowds when it's firing. With moderate water temperatures around 20.4°C, it's a challenging spot for beginners.
